Stakeholders:

The ways in which stakeholders relate to an organization vary. Some groups like shareholders, the workforce, trade unions and consumers take their roles only in relation to a company that serves as a focal organization. Consequently, the role of a stockholder, a worker, a union member and a consumer makes a person a stakeholder to the firm of which she or he holds a stock, works for or buys from. (Roloff, 2008).

Stakeholder Model:

In the UK., corporate governance is fundamentally based on the shareholder model, which is a result of eapitalism with the objective of profit maximisation and the protection of shareholders interests. (Nwanji, 2007).
